Why God?
“Why God?” “Why should I believe God exists?” “Why did this happen, God?” “Why am I here and where am I going, God?” “Why does so much preaching and Christian conversation today leave loose ends and question marks?” “Are we under law or grace or a combination of both for salvation today?”
Whatever your “Why God” question is it can be answerd through God’s infallible Word of truth.
Why Bible Study?
Let’s consider these words from 2nd Timothy 3:16,
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Right there is our reason for Bible Study! Then in 2nd Timothy 2:15,
Be diligent (The KJV translates as “Study”) to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
How can we be sure we’re approved of God?
Study His Word, the Word of Truth, and rightly divide it!
We “Rightly Divide,” when we ask ourselves;
1.) Who is speaking and to whom?
2.) What are they speaking about?
3.) When are they speaking about it?
4.) Why are they speaking about it?
The answers to these questions will give us the context of the passage, and even if we can’t answer every question, we answer what we can, knowing that every answer is not required for understanding.

My name is Chris Jones.
I am not a pastor, a teacher or a minister in any way except for that ministry which all Christians are called to, to make known the salvation of the Lord.
When my beloved brother became ill with terminal cancer and turned his trust to the Lord’s grace, I began this group as a means of encouraging his growth in the knowledge of God. When he died I just kept going with it because I enjoyed the study so much.
Also, I have always had a love for small study groups, and I believe they are a great opportunity to share the Gospel, however, because we live and work in our caravan, often long distances from towns and cities, I cannot attend a regular group study. This is why this group exists.
I hope you will find it a blessing and you will better know our Saviour Jesus Christ who appears on every page of the Bible.
